Data Collection
RestTimer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The app has no internet permission, no account system, no ads, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking SDK.
Local App Data
RestTimer stores timer settings and completed session history locally on your device. This local data may include:
- Default rest duration
- Sound, vibration, and keep-screen-on preferences
- Completed session history, including session time, rest time, and round count
This data remains on your device and is used only to provide app functionality.
Data Deletion
You can delete saved session history inside the app by opening Settings and selecting Clear history.
You can also remove all app data by uninstalling RestTimer or clearing app storage from Android system settings.
App Permissions
RestTimer may request notification permission so it can show active timer and interval-complete notifications. The app also uses vibration, wake lock, and foreground service permissions to provide reliable timer alerts during active sessions.
